Olds College Annual Convocation Ceremonies

Maven served as the live production partner for the 2022 Olds College Convocation, transforming the campus gymnasium into a full-scale event and broadcast environment. With the college providing the stage, Maven supplied all remaining production elements — drape, stage lighting, live sound, video projection, cameras, and a live stream — to deliver a ceremony that worked equally well for guests in attendance and families watching remotely.

A live graphic system displaying each graduate’s name as a lower third was integrated into the production, identifying students as they crossed the stage. Two large projector screens provided IMAG for the gymnasium audience while the ceremony was simultaneously streamed live for families unable to attend in person. Maven’s CONSTELLATION core managed the switching and encoding throughout. A five-person crew handled the full production.
