Olds College Annual Convocation Ceremonies

Maven has served as the live production partner for the Olds College Convocation, transforming the campus gymnasium into a high-stakes broadcast environment. To ensure the ceremony reached both the hundreds in attendance and families viewing remotely, we delivered a comprehensive technical solution featuring full stage production and live sound reinforcement.

The production featured a high-impact visual design, utilizing two 15-foot projector screens for IMAG (cameras on screens) and a professional programmable lighting package for stage wash and backlighting. Our team managed a complex audio environment, deploying a 12-box line-array speaker system to ensure crystal-clear sound throughout the Ralph Klein Centre. For the virtual audience, Maven executed a seamless multi-camera live stream to the College’s YouTube Live account, complete with dedicated slide and video playback. By handling everything from engineering reviews for rigging to the final event program recording, Maven provided a reliable, high-quality archive of this premier milestone event.
