A Celebration of Alberta Ag

Maven served as the live production partner for A Celebration of Alberta Ag 2021 at Olds College, delivering an intimate broadcast production for a performance by Corb Lund, with an authentic ag-style set provided by the Olds College team.

Maven deployed the CONSTELLATION production core — including a 4ME broadcast production switcher and a 32-channel Midas audio mixer — supported by a nine-person crew for an accelerated one-day schedule that included rehearsal with the performer, the event itself, and strike. Four 4K broadcast cameras covered the performance, including a wireless Steadicam for dynamic motion. The lighting package combined cinema-grade film and video production fixtures with stage lighting to achieve a TV-style visual look. The live stream was delivered via a Maven-provided CDN, giving the client an unbranded distribution option for viewers across the province. Maven also handled full run-of-show planning and broadcast graphics for the program.
