Momentum Breakfast Fundraiser

Maven has provided live production support for Momentum’s annual breakfast fundraiser at the Calgary Petroleum Club. The event is structured more like a theatre performance than a traditional speaker program — with fast-paced music, sound effect, and video cues — requiring close coordination with the client team throughout setup and rehearsals.

Maven brought an external sound system and earset microphones, with the ASTRA production core managing live switching and redundant video playback. The venue’s installed projectors provided the in-room display, and Maven supplied a dedicated comfort monitor so presenters could follow cues without turning from the audience. A two-person crew — technical director and audio technician — completed a full day of setup and rehearsals with the client the day before the event to work through every cue and finalize the show flow. As Momentum’s main fundraising event each year, it’s critical for the AV to be seamless, and Maven is proud to support production for this event.
