Navigating complex logistical challenges to deliver a world-class powerlifting stage.

When the 2018 IPF Classic World Championships required a sudden venue transition, Maven was brought in to manage a complete technical and structural overhaul of the new Calgary space. Over the course of the 10-day international event, Maven handled the full-scale venue buildout for the Canadian Powerlifting Union, working through the architect and engineer approval process to execute electrical integration, floor planning design, and reinforced staging built to withstand heavy competition lifts.
Beyond the structural buildout, Maven managed video distribution for 14 backstage TVs and stage/judge monitors — providing accurate, real-time data to judges, lifters, and participants both backstage and on the competition floor. The result was a competition-ready environment built from the ground up under significant time pressure.
