Mission-critical bonded uplink solutions for the world’s most extreme alpine circuit.

For the 2019 Freeride World Tour stop at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden, British Columbia, Maven provided high-reliability IP bonding and cellular uplink services as an active failsafe to the production’s primary satellite uplink. The Freeride World Tour flies its full production kit around the world and required a local technical partner to support the on-mountain broadcast infrastructure.
Operating in an area with no direct cellular reception, Maven engineered a custom repeater station and deployed long-range radios to relay signals from the client production suite to accessible network points on the mountain. Network bonding combined multiple cellular carriers into a single, high-bandwidth connection to sustain a stable uplink throughout competition.
