Dekada Professional Boxing Production

For several years, Maven served as the primary broadcast partner for Dekada Boxing, producing pay-per-view live streams for Calgary’s professional boxing series at the Grey Eagle Event Centre. The events drew significant attention — including a headlining appearance by former six-time world champion Zab Judah, who won his Canadian debut by unanimous decision on the January 2018 card.

Maven’s production featured a minimum of five cameras: two positioned on the ring apron for close cage-side coverage, one fixed wide shot, a wireless camera for fighter walk-ins, and one mounted high on the truss for an overhead view of the ring that prominently featured title sponsor branding. A six-person crew managed live switching, instant replays, real-time graphics, and a ringside audio mix combining commentator headsets with the ambient sounds of the arena for the pay-per-view audience.
