Champions Rise MMA Broadcast Production

Maven served as the live production and broadcast partner for Champions Creed Martial Arts, covering their Champions Rise and Wimp2Warrior MMA events at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino. The goal was to bring a television-quality experience to an amateur sporting event, giving fans an authentic sports broadcast.

Maven deployed the ASTRA production core with an instant replay system, allowing the crew to trim and play back key moments after each round and compile highlight packages for the client’s social media following the event. The three-camera setup included two cage-side manned cameras and a fixed wide shot, managed by a four-person Maven crew. Two cage-side commentators were equipped with broadcast headsets and video monitors to follow the action and communicate with the production team. Round clock graphics ran throughout the broadcast, and tale-of-the-tape fighter graphics were provided by the client.
