Avatar Innovations Launch Event

Maven served as the live production partner for the 2026 Avatar Innovations Launch at Decidedly Jazz Danceworks in Calgary. The event was a kickoff for professionals entering the Avatar program — an initiative focused on accelerating skills and developing energy transition solutions — broadcast live to participants in both Calgary and Houston.

Maven managed the Calgary side of the hybrid production, running two 4K broadcast cameras through the GEMINI production core to capture multiple stage angles throughout the program. The setup included a digital podium display, dynamic LED banners, and Portman P2 Hexaline lighting. The three-person Maven crew, working alongside venue staff and closely with the client team, completed a full day of setup and rehearsals to load and test all event assets ahead of the broadcast. On event day, our producer coordinated with the Houston production team and led the Maven and venue teams to keep the program running on cue for both in-room attendees and remote participants.
