AltaGas Investor Day Broadcast

For the 2023 AltaGas Investor Day, Maven expanded our production footprint to Lennox Hall at the Toronto Region Board of Trade. Held roughly every two years, the event is a major business update for AltaGas’s stakeholders, investors, and analysts. The 2023 event had a small in-person audience with remaining viewers joining through a webcast hosted on Notified.

To maintain a high production standard, Maven transitioned our proven Calgary-based system to Toronto, managing logistics, technical planning, and on-site execution for the client’s event team. We coordinated the cross-country shipment of our production kit by truck, alongside custom 3D AltaGas stage signage. The production featured four broadcast cameras: two operated close-ups for the panel discussion, a jib for dynamic motion, and an unmanned wide shot of the room. Maven’s CONSTELLATION production core managed all video and audio feeds with full redundancy. Audio coverage included a full set of lapel mics for the panel, a podium with dual mics for redundancy, and audience Q&A microphones. By deploying a hybrid crew of Calgary-based leads and local Toronto specialists, we maintained Maven’s standards on-site while keeping logistics efficient.

After the event, Maven delivered a polished HD program recording, with ISO recordings of every camera and microphone captured as backup — appropriate redundancy for a high-stakes investor event.
