APPI 2023 Annual Conference Production

Maven served as the live production partner for the 2023 Alberta Professional Planners Institute (APPI) Annual Conference at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. The multi-room event required AV support across the main plenary room and several breakout rooms, with cost-effective live streaming for the keynote alongside concurrent session recording in each breakout space.

In the main room, Maven deployed the ASTRA production core with two 9-foot-wide laser projectors, a single HD camera for the keynote livestream — delivered through APPI’s Zoom Webinar platform — and a 50-inch presenter comfort monitor giving the speaker their choice of slides, presenter view, or timer. Each breakout room was equipped with a single projector screen, a compact sound system, two wireless microphones, and a Maven satellite core for audio and slide recording. A three-person Maven crew managed setup and technical direction across all rooms throughout the conference.
